BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

MAKEUP

If you have any picture references of makeup looks you like, please bring them along to your appointment. Ideally come to your appointment fresh faced and moisturised (make-up free). If you are particular about how you like to wear one element of your makeup (i.e. brows), it's helpful to come with these done so we can see how you like it. You will most likely require a lip product for retouches (especially if you opt for a bolder lip colour) so it might be worth bringing something to your appointment. If you're prone to shine or your event is scheduled for a warm day, we also recommend purchasing a translucent powder and/or some blotting pads from your favourite cosmetics retailer.HAIR
If you are booked in for hair styling through the Collective team, please make sure your hair is washed and dried beforehand. We suggest a double shampoo & light condition on the morning of your booking.

PAYMENTS

PAYMENT INFO

We ask that you pay your booking fee (B/F) as soon as you receive your confirmation email. Your booking is not secure until you have paid your B/F and we will retain the right to offer your artist to another client in the event of an unpaid booking fee. The remaining charge owing is the artist's fee for carrying out your service(s) on the day. We kindly ask that you have your payment in ready in cash on the day of your booking as not all team members carry eftpos facilities. We also ask that you do not request to pay the full amount in advance of your booking. For weddings with multiple team members, we recommend preparing an envelope for each artist with the correct amount inside for each individual team member.

CONDITIONS

Booking fees are non transferrable and non-refundable as they are an administrative charge paid to secure a specific team member, date, time and location. Therefore, if you reduce the number of services in a booking or reschedule to a new date,TxC will retain the B/F paid for those services. In instances where we add a new team member to an existing booking (at the clients request), thereby causing a reduction in the number of services that were to be carried out by the original artist, TxC will retain the B/F for those services and they will need to be paid again to secure the new team member.

COVID-19

Due to the increasing number of reschedules and cancellations as result of the frequently changing landscape of the Covid-19 pandemic in Western Australia, we wish to advise you of our revised terms and conditions. As a small business in an events based industry we have been severely impacted byCovid-19 related reschedules and cancellations and we can only imagine how distressing this has been for our clients, especially brides and those experiencing special milestone celebrations. Whilst we deeply empathise with the challenges this presents for our clients, particularly those coordinating multiple vendors, unfortunately there is an administrative and opportunity cost to us each time a booking is made, amended, moved or cancelled. By paying your booking fee you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this document. Please read carefully.

EVENTS & SPECIAL OCCASION SERVICES

BOOKING FEES

Your booking fee is non refundable and non transferrable as it is paid to secure your artist’s services for a specific time, date and location. Your booking fee covers the administrative charges of managing bookings/running the business and protects the business against lost income due to unforeseen cancellations. Due to the unique nature of our industry and the especially narrow window of demand for event makeups, coupled with the often early request period, we are impacted heavily by cancellations. Even if your event is moved to another date, we have lost the opportunity to offer a paid service that day and therefore your booking is deemed as a cancellation. Exceptions to refunds and transfers will only be made in the following circumstances:

1) If the West Australian or federal government implements a mandated lockdown we will credit you for the amount paid in advance for your booking. This is valid for 12 months from the date of the cancellation. Your credit can be passed on to friends or family. Please notify us when the new booking is made so we can validate this request.

2) If in the instance that your artist is unable to commit to your booking due to the necessity to isolate/quarantine or a Covid-19 infection, we will notify you as soon as possible and refund you the full amount paid.
We have a network of talented and vaccinated makeup artists that we can put you in touch with. We all count on each other to step in and assist one another in a crisis so we are hopeful that in most cases there will be a reliable and suitable cover available.

BRIDAL SERVICES

If a bridal client needs to cancel or reschedule their wedding for any reason(except a government mandated lockdown) we will retain their deposit in full.
Your deposit covers the administrative charges of managing bookings/running the business and protects the business against lost income due to unforeseen cancellations. Due to the unique nature of our industry and the especially narrow window of demand for weddings, coupled with the necessity to book months in advance and the extended lead time of communication, we are impacted heavily by cancellations. Even if your wedding is moved to another date, we have lost the opportunity to offer paid services that day and therefore your booking is deemed as a cancellation.

Exceptions to this cancellation process will only occur if the West Australian or federal government implements a mandated lockdown. In this case, we will credit you for the amount paid in advance for your booking minus an administrative fee of $100.
This is only valid for 12 months from the date of the cancellation. Your credit can be passed on to friends or family. Please notify us when the new booking is made so we can validate this request.

In the instance your artist is unable to commit to your booking due to necessity to isolate / quarantine or a Covid-19 infection, we will notify you as soon as possible and try our absolute best to secure a cover for the day. We have a network of talented and vaccinated makeup artists that we have on call and can reach out to. We all count on each other to step in and assist one another in a crisis so we are hopeful that in most cases there will be a reliable and suitable cover available. We aim to come to you with a solution first as we understand brides have enough stress on their plate already and we will do our best to mitigate as much of this stress as possible.

In the instance where a bridal client wishes to reduce the number of make-ups booked for any reason, including legislative changes to borders or any otherCovid-19 reasons, we require more than two weeks notice otherwise you will be required to pay the full fee quoted for the booking. You are welcome to substitute a bridesmaid or family member with a friend or any other guest on the day from the same location at the allotted time to utilise the fee paid.Due to the fast changing landscape of Covid-19 we kindly ask that you do not pay in full for the wedding day ahead of time.
